Last Supper first day

Our last dinner together was very successful.  The waiters had made us a little napkin man that sat in a wine glass.

Here they are they were very good fun and they looked after us all week, especially keeping our glasses topped up.  I gave them €5 on the first night and thanked them for looking after us and it worked.  We all chipped in and made two envelopes for tips at the end of the week for them.

Ian enjoyed his first cruise as its like a luxury yacht with first class service.  Ian enjoys being by the water as he spend quite a few years as a water ski instructor.  Im so pleased that he came with us otherwise I would have been on my own with four ladies.

Claire found a very strange dance partner; well it was carnival night.

We all were given some kind of clothes.  I wanted the Ace of spades but I ended up with the deuce.  We had intended to have an early night but it didn't work and we were after 1pm again but we didn't go to the night club.  It didn't feel good when we had to get up early as we had to embark by 8am.  Goodbye cruise.  I had rented another car to pick up at the port and drop off at the airport when we go home so we now have the car until the end of our holiday.

As Ian and Sue were not flying until 18:30 they came back to our apartment for a sleep while we sat in the sun.  We were a little disappointed with our apartment but more about that later.  Here we are wasting a little time until our apartment was available.

These are the famous sand dunes that go from Playa de Ingles to Maspalomas where all the naked queer men hang out literally.  I can just see a couple in the distance.

Here is our room, its a little basic with nowhere to sit to watch the tv other than on the bed.  We do have a decent balcony but it will only get the sun in the morning.

We had a nice lunch, just down the road but we found an English pub with sports on and Tracy has just made a steak pie for tonight.  I know where we will be eating tonight.

Here is our lovely pool which I guess we will be spending quite some time around.

And this was our last drink together by the pool before I had to drive them to the airport.  Thanx guys for giving us such a great time with your wonderful company.  Safe journey home!
