Start of Cruise on MSC Armoni

For our last night in the hotel we decided to treat ourselves to a proper meal out.  Sue and Ian went for a walk in the afternoon and we decided upon, “The Happy Rooster” or “Den Gladden Hen” in German.  We all ordered steak but a different type, Claire and I had the Chataubriand while Ian had the pepper steak and Sue had Tornados steak.  We all really enjoyed or steaks but Ian chose best.  We then headed off to the little square we had lunch earlier which was a bargain at €7 each for, bread, chicken chips and salad, a sweet and a beer.  They had a band on as well.  When we were there for lunch A lady started playing and singing for money and Claire gave the other lady €2 but she turned out to be nothing to do with the lady singing, just another bum.

Morning arrived and we had to find our way to the port and the car return place.  We had a nightmare finding the port entrance but on our third attempt we managed to turn in and thats when we found that the car return place was in the port area.  It turned out to be right next to where we embark from so it wasn’t a problem once we had found the car park.  Perfect timing for our embarkation process and we were on in a flash with an open buffet for our first lunch.  They had the buffet on the 11th deck where there are two pools and two spa pools so we settled down for pre lunch drinks.

They have a mini golf course around the 12th deck and a full sized baseball court with full netting also on the 12th deck.  We had lunch and settled down to some more drinks and I was the first one to try the cocktails, this is a purple rain.  Dinner was at 6:45 and we even managed to stay up for the 70’s disco that didn't start until 11.30.  This is our first ever time that we have stopped for the entertainment.  Its also our first time with an internal room and we were a little disappointed that we weren't upgraded as the ship is only about half full.  They charge so much for an upgrade and don't give them away free.  Our room was very small but everything is there.  I now have to sort out the wifi which is expensive but not as bad as some at €25 for 100 minutes.  Cheers everybody!
